 WaterWater qulaity, sewage, flooding etc...In South Florida and especially in our neighborhood, this subject is a constant concern beyond the general conservation matter...Despite individual initiatives that can help mitigate some effects, we must work with the City to get our share of infrastructure and maintenance investments for our small area... |  SecurityFrom petty to serious crime, our relatively quiet Residentiail area needs to stay protected from the threats of our bustling surroundings: panhandling, drug traficking, vagrants, sex offenders...etc many of these are constant nuisance , right there at at our doostep... |  BeautificationCoral Shores is by essence a small "green" pocket that sits in the heart of a busy commercial and urban environment...It serves as a lung with its canopy and a natural habitat for many water and land species around its canals and private yards.Let's nurture it and keep it ever more beauitful for everyone to enjoy.our image |

 Trespassing & vagrantsAs sad as it may be, our surroundings have long been plagued with constant trespassing on private properties and associated illegal activities such as drug dealing, prostitution etc... and vagrants camps, especially in the back of commercial properties on Federal Highway...Working with appropriate partners ( owners. landlords, FLPD etc..) is an everyday effort to keep it in check... |  Waterwaysthe "Venice of the North" our area is blessed with endless canals and waterways to enjoy.Many of us pay a premium to have a waterfront property and we all should be able to enjoy them without endlessly floating back and forth with trash, speeding boaters , pollution etc... Preserving them as a natural habitat for both anilmals and humans should be a constant effort that starts with everyone's respect and attention... |  TrafficIf traffic from Residents is limited, visitors or contractors can present daily challenges , from dangerous speeding to blocking roadways or improper street parking...We also have a growing issue in regards with driving in or out of our area onto Oakland park Blvd for which we have asked the City/ Transportation Dept and FDOT to offer improvement options... |
